2021 Season Planning In Progress

Posted On: January 05, 2021

Directors, Coaches, Parents, and Players,

The NCPALYLL Executive board conducted our winter meeting and agreed to continue to plan for a “normal” 2021 season. We plan to keep our cadence and the schedule of deliverable dates as outlined on our website.

We are aware that the New York State High School Athletic Association elected to delay the start of high school lacrosse season and will be extending it into June. However, the Board felt that by attempting to run a regular schedule we would encounter fewer conflicts than if we followed the high school season.

We also realize there will be cancellations, rescheduling and postponements due to conflicts with other activities, field limitations and COVID-19 cases and exposure. However, if we do what we have always done and work together for the success of Long Island Lacrosse we will have a successful season.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel but we are not quite there yet. We will be there soon and wish you and your families a wonderful Holiday and successful 2021!

Our next director meeting will be on January 6th and we look forward to seeing all the directors at the meeting.

If you have any questions regarding the above, please feel free to contact us.

Happy holidays to you and yours.
